Promoting positive behavior through effective zoning. This session takes a deep dive into the importance of effective zoning. In this workshop teachers will work together to create zoning plans that ensure appropriate supervision and incorporate positive behavior support strategies.

Discover the power of play, storytelling, and conflict resolution, and learn how to create empathetic aBy the end of the workshop, each teaching team will have a well-crafted specific zoning plan and receive expert facilitation in how to use the plan to combat challenging behaviors.

Session Goals: • Understand what zoning means in early childhood • Analyze the relationship between effective communication and challenging behaviors • Understand how to draft an actionable zoning plan that addresses challenging behaviors in meaningful ways • Maximize learning time and increase teacher confidence
